The pictures come from around the web. plopslop keeps a small copy of each one to show you, deletes it once enough people have seen it, and never names who published it.
Our model gets about 3 in 4 right on pictures like the ones it learned from. On the newest fakes it does worse than a coin flip. It is a guess, and so is yours.
You score by reading a picture the way our model did, so the score measures agreement with a piece of software and not truth. Nobody here is claiming to know who made any picture.
Other people play the same pictures. What they said is recorded and is never shown to you, because a count of strangers is not an answer and seeing one before you look changes what you see.
